Description
Altium Agile Enterprise serves as a comprehensive platform for electronics design and product development, linking PCB design processes with enterprise systems through well-regulated and scalable workflows. This solution integrates Altium Designer with the Altium 365 cloud platform and offers deployment across cloud, GovCloud, and on-premises environments. Key functionalities encompass collaborative PCB co-authoring, ECAD-MCAD co-design, audit trail-enabled version control, lifecycle management, requirements management, customizable workflows, and a portal dedicated to manufacturing releases. The platform facilitates seamless integrations with PLM systems such as Arena, Windchill, Oracle Agile, Aras Innovator, and Teamcenter, alongside connections to Jira and ERP systems, while also leveraging component and supply chain data provided by SiliconExpert and Z2Data. Additionally, robust security measures are in place, including single sign-on (SSO), IP allowlisting, management of groups and workspaces, and oversight of external contributors. Notably, Altium 365 GovCloud adheres to ITAR and EAR compliance requirements, ensuring that its features align with stringent regulatory standards. This comprehensive approach enables organizations to streamline their design processes while maintaining regulatory integrity and collaboration across teams.
Description
Flux is a browser-based electronic design automation (EDA) platform for designing printed circuit boards. It brings schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, routing, and design rule checks into a shared online workspace.
Its AI hardware design assistant helps turn plain-language circuit requirements into schematics, research components, place parts, route traces, and review designs. Engineers can edit the results, define design constraints, and review the board before manufacturing.
Multiple users can work on the same design in real time, leave comments, and manage project permissions. Reusable community circuits and component libraries help teams start new designs, while live component pricing and availability support part selection.
Flux exports Gerber, bill of materials (BOM), and pick-and-place files. It accepts Altium ASCII and Cadence EDIF schematics and KiCad component libraries. These imports do not include PCB layouts.
Flux is used by electronics engineers, hardware startups, and product teams. A trial includes limited AI usage; after the trial, a paid plan is required to edit or export private projects and use AI. Public-project and community access remain available.
