Journal Journal: Suprise!
This is the first time I realised that Slashdot has a journal option for users. A while back I only used livejournal.com, but now I have a nerd journal too. Yeh. I was at SFCC last night with Astronomers and looking through the big telescopes. Is it just me or does the moon have a big crack in it? (Upper left, or lower right looking through the scope due to upside down effect of astral telescope) I feel so dumb when I learn stuff I never knew. heh.
1.4 seconds for picture of moon to get to us here on earth. 8 minutes for the sun. light travels at 186,000 m/ps. i'm such a spaz. I'd probably say light travels at mph since I'm so used to saying that.
How nerdy can I get? My Algebra teacher finally showed up and we discussed real numbers and functions, a little on parabolas. 1969, the moon, the internet. assumptions, oh how boring. I want some real adventure. I'll get a little eventually. Moving out again is a little of an adventure.
I'm listening to the midi soundtrack to Monkey Island 2. LeChuck's Revenge?
I had chili last night and a sandwich this mornking. monkey. mornin. I me me me i i i me i me
la ti da.
I don't know why I'm so interested in Nano tech when it really doesn't exist yet. Well I've never seen it. heh! I've been thinking of upgrading my car to have a PC in it. Well actually I'll wait until I get a truck and upgrade the truck. LCDs are so much cheaper than they used to be and so are DVD/CD-RW combo drives. I might use a transmeta kit whenever they get a better Ghz model available. Strangely enough, I've never played DVDs with Linux. I've surely done a share of MP3s in Linux. Then again I've never had a transmeta computer either, but the display model at CompUSA was really nice.
