Submission + - Piezoelectric system replicates muscle motion of human eye (gatech.edu)

Peristaltic writes: Researchers at the Georgia Tech Bio-Robotics and Human Modeling Laboratory are using muscle-like piezoelectric actuators to mimic the motion of the human eye. While the device currently allows a single-degree of freedom, plans include a multi-degree of freedom device that accurately replicates human eye motion for use in robotic systems.
