Journal Journal: "I didn't produce our show" 4

"I just showed up for the final..." [act].

His complaint against the GOP is about ratings, not the content. Gee, what else is new there? The circus was a flop My goodness, even Bieber turned down five mil...

And yet, I have these morons constantly badgering me about not taking his campaign seriously, and that failure to endorse one is actually endorsing the other.

You people are nuts. The race should be between Johnson and Clinton. (I've written off Stein as one those going overboard on disarmament and "compromise", more like appeasement. She's not ready to deal with the sociopathy). Trump shouldn't even be in the picture. It is sad to see him get a single vote amongst the so-called "serious" people. The only logical deduction to draw from that is that they aren't serious. The man's continued presence is the evidence. When you wash away all the bullshit, all that is left is the shtick.

The internet really is TV. It is making people stupid. Or maybe the Russian/Chinese trolls really have taken over.

So let's let the Neilsen Company count the votes. It's as good as anything.

Speaking of which, the Slashdot Poll looks pretty accurate so far. The newspapers could use it as a guide.

Journal Journal: Buttered Cat Paradox - you all know what that is. 3

It is this year's presidential election. The fanatics on both sides are positively spinning out of control.

And I am discovering my apparently unique ability to bring out their inner child that maybe, until now, they never realized was there. Wow! But there it is! Shouting, screaming, kicking...

What a scene, what a scene!

Just did a quick check. Doesn't really look good for Don. But maybe congress and state legislators can keep things under control. Let's hope they can hold off a convention for at least eight more years, or you can kiss the Bill of Rights adios

Shit! I didn't know ol' boy left. That's not cool.

Journal Journal: Democrat dweebs 5

What's the word for those so desperately grasping at straws, Bush, Cheney, Nader, anything at all avoid the truth in why they lose elections? They will not ever accept that it is because they suck. They put up weak candidates, Humphrey, Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, that present no opposition to the other side, and demand we all play along. This is why republicans do, and Trump can win*. It is that simple. And people like me will always catch shit for seeing through the charade.

*personally I think it's intentional as part of their tag team methods

Well, since it is well documented I am the literary midget of Slashdot, I found an article, courtesy MH42 (a person who is either the most sincere, or the best troll in these parts. I kid, man. You're cool), That can explain my thoughts far better than I can, in spite of the minor quibbles I have over third party voting, and maybe one or two little things that would just be distraction from the overall message. See, I really do know how to compromise, where it is merited. So, enjoy, and STFU! you dumbasses! Full apologies to and in memory of our best friend Red. I hope he comes back some day, and Smith too, maybe then we will see the return of ,heheh, civility (the admirable direct talking kind, not the PC weenie shit that democrats and other conservatives push and will legislate given half a chance) in JournalLand.

And stay out of the dark alleys if you don't want to suffer a most painful death.

thank you, and good night ladies

Journal Journal: Will she do it? 18

Make Bernie VP? I kinda prefer Warren. This is entirely within the context of something like, which is Freddy Krueger's good side? But since "the devil we know" is the game here, let's pick the best devil, right? Call it a fashion statement.

Like Linux on the desktop, will this be the year the democrats honor the platform? I mean, to save a lot of time, they only need to say one magic word to win, Beetlejuice!

Journal Journal: Driving Tips 5

Keep your tires properly inflated

Always use your seat belt

If you drive a nice car, wear a chauffeur's cap, and seat all passengers in back.

And make damn sure to check your tail lights before leaving the house! It also would help if the covers can resist a couple of whacks with the billy club. Shopping tip - Try to replace the bulbs with multiple LEDs. They last much longer and are harder to knock out.

Do not even have a gun near by, much less on your person. The permit means nothing, it is confetti.

Keep your hands UP! at all times.

Good luck and safe trip

Journal Journal: Chilcot Report - UK wags the dog 61

I want to see DNA testing done on the Murdoch children.

I keep forgetting that some people need everything spoon fed like a damn computer program, so here, you, go (Grace (born 2001) and Chloe (born 2003). Tony Blair is Grace Murdoch's godfather) Uh huh...

Journal Journal: Another lead balloon 2

What a world. A simple bit of mockery turns into a tirade about privacy that finally ends (I hope) with this...

I think the election is scrambling peoples' brains. They seem to feel the need to lash out, against anything, and I'm the flavor of the week with one of them. I'm sure he'll find something else to occupy himself eventually. In the meantime, why not roll with it, right?

Journal Journal: Clinton's Corruption v Trump's Charisma 22

One of these will win the election for the other.

The democrats have a problem. If the election swings too far their way, congress will become very lopsided, and they will no longer be able to blame the republicans for obstruction. The entire rotating villain game goes out the window. They almost fucked it up in 2008, but there are enough bourbon democrats to keep the balance, and discourage the voters from participating, thus handing congress over to the "opposition", just the right amount. Now they need to tamp down the enthusiasm just enough to keep congress as close to 50/50 as possible, the FBI report being the latest example. It was a duzy, almost reveals too much about selective enforcement of the law, but it's still working. Partly because... Trump. Mention the name and all is forgotten. The distraction works. Can't argue with success. What you always end up with though is the most wretched of the wretched. And it effectively has half the population battling the other with pure distraction politics. We have an election where the biggest loser wins.

Journal Journal: LGBTQ bumps into BLM. Hilarity ensues 18

Just google the story... stories, it turns out.

Obviously some people are allowing themselves be manipulated into doing stupid shit, costing a great deal of credibility, which is probably the intention. Divide and conquer never fails.
