Journal Journal: Cross Referencing Spirituality

Why hasn't anyone cross referenced all major religous texts along with the actual spiritual meaning of the emotions involved in the lessons? Why not have examples that go along with the lessons? With modern databases and web sites why can't we get everyone to take a look at themselves and then look at the good teachings of others in a "new light" that will allow everyone to not only see all the good that they have in common, but also the areas where understanding and communication break down between not only yourself and God but yourself and all the other people in your life? Seems like I should be able to make a user-driven web site to do this... we will have to wait and see.

Journal Journal: Captains Log - T-Minus 156

Writing in my journal here has been absent due to my encarseraction at home. Since the last entry I have been to my probation officer and placed on home confinement. Surprisingly the shit cost me over $8000 for 6 months. What the fuck? I even asked if the government gets a percentage of it or if it is regulated and the answer was no... These fucking people charge whatever they think they can get away with and then you can 'protest it through channels' if you can't afford it. I can only afford it because I can manage a rediculous amount of debt (my dept to income ratio is about 1:1 right now.. sigh.) On top of this last week, I got on house arrest July 15th, but last week I got a bill from the probation department for about $6000. What the hell? Do our taxes pay for any of this shit? I'm paying for the time of my probation officer, a state, county, and city fucking tax for just getting convicted of my crime and tons of other bullshit that you can't really do anything about. The nice catch on this one is you cannot get off probation until your balance is paid in full. You are literally a prisoner in the system until you can buy your way out.

Free enterprise was never supposed to be like this.

Knowing all this I am heavily considering starting a politocol campaign to reform the whole fucking country. For far too long we have been building up law on law on law... it's about time all laws had a required instantiation period, with a review before expiration. The default assumption that laws will be good forever is stupid and so if we change this, and change it so all previous laws get reviewed and put under time constraints, with new laws also getting review times and expiration dates then maybe the politicians will keep our bills less bloated since there is a lot more work involved... Or are they affraid of working hard for their country? working hard for their people? Sounds like what the job of a politician should be to me...

Read a logical approach to tearing down your own depression, conscience, soul, god, satan, or other locks you may have in your self. The key is out there, just remember you only built PART of the lock, you have to ask for the rest of the key...

Then again, you don't HAVE to ask... you can find it on your own, but sometimes I feel asking is better.

Criminals are people too; and at least we admit our mistakes.
Let us change the laws that have forced us to become criminals
where we feel these laws should not be applicabable. Be patriotic,
be an American. Just like your ancestors that broke away from Britain or
Mexico you can fight the tyranny of this land. Change the things you hate
about this Nation. Vote Criminal. Change the laws so what you think
should NOT be illegal isn't for your children. Let them experience the
life you always wanted; and were told you couldn't have. Give your children the freedom that was stolen away from you. We admit we are criminals and embrace our roles in this world. Shouldn't our government officials admit their mistakes? Shouldn't they be people just like us? Shouldn't WE be in charge of our nation? We are when we vote. vote criminal.

Journal Journal: Forget MMO I want GGU.

I am sick of one component of all MMO's on the video game market and in this fundamental change I believe an acronym must be invented to represent a brand new genre of multiplayer game components.

I present to you GGU; Gargantuan Game Universe.
A GGU differs from an MMO in that there is no concept of servers. The GGU acts as one gigantic seamless universe for all players at the same time. I believe I have discovered fundamental game dynamics that surpass all previous technical issues to acheive 500-1000 players in a given area playing with each other. Scalability is always a limit of design and over the next 5-10 years I predict the first GGU will shatter the video game industry's concept of online.

Over the next few years I will be working for Fastlane Games, Inc. while I develop my ideas in my spare time. Spiraled Souls is coming, it will change your definition of MMO to GGU. Why have hundreds of servers with thousands of players when you can have one universe, hundreds of backend computers, and one gigantic player base that is self scaling?

I am intentionally not going to tell you how I am going to pull this off because this aspect of video game playing has never been written or conceived as far as I know. My gut tells me this is going to change the world of video games; we'll have to wait and see the first GGU, hopefully mine, but maybe not? And if you've ever wondered how you could have thousands of players in a small area with efficient network and graphical latency I have one word for you; innovation. And if you try to tell me it won't be fun, how the fuck would you know? You don't even know my idea yet... Your imagination is not mine so never assume you are more creative than I.

Journal Journal: Unreal 3 is the shiznit

I am eagly anticipating my return to using the unreal engine. I was on UXO; where we where using unreal 2, but that game never shipped... It is nice being able to return to a nice graphical engine and having an opportunity to properly build an mmo backgend to interface with unreal technologies. Plus having working on Ultima Online and World of Warcraft I am intimately familiar with seamless world support on a massively multiplayer scale so bringing a higher level of polish to distributed simulation stitching and execution is something I am happy to work on for the next couple years. We 'gonna rock this genre.

Operating Systems

Journal Journal: Network bandwidth throttling...

It has come to my conclusion that bandwidth throttling should be done by the operating system per process on all varieties of "sockets." Numerous applications allow you to throttle how much up and down stream bandwidth they consume so I ask why not include such a mechanism in windows and linux? First kernel development with command line utitlities to control and view each processes setup but eventually you could build in common components to "accessing methods" to all program interfaces. Running your app, snag that bar on the side and slam down its disk i/o or network i/o settings while it is in the system tray. By building this into the operating system layer a common "process interface" can be developed for any data access method. Each "Fido" interface would naturally have a gui component later on by making it data interface independant. All applications can use this from a users standpoint simply because I should be the one who tells my computer how important any action is to me. Novice users could have a simplified interface with settings like "Used Frequently, Rarely Used, Never Used", etc. These common "templates" for basic users could help them eleviate the "lag" that all current multi-tasking environments managed. Multi-tasking your processes in the OS isn't enough, it should multi-task the entire input and output methods for accessing everything, not just "executing instructions." Advanced configuration is a must; please microsoft don't hide settings from me in an ADVANCED tab... :P

Journal Journal: True three dimensional application debugging...

I just envisioned a brand new desktop environment that would lend itself well to true three dimensional debugging of multi-process network applications. You could conceivably debug the 'protocol' while actually observing the processes, network streams, and callstacks simultaenously in a very nice graphical manipulatable environment. What if you could hold your right mouse button down while on the window bar of any application and proceed to rotate or move it in 3 dimensions. On the side (or back) you could easily stick debug "objects" that would snap into place like legos. If you threw a networking 'lego' on one application and you see it is connected to another you proceed to drag the network lego over to the other application. At which point you have both applications linked with a 3 dimensional tube that actually shows you the networing protocl and packet data stream as they communicate. Sames goes for files, threads, database access, whatever. By roughly componenting a 3 dimensional 'debugging' interface first into applications and creation of the 3d programming and debugging environment we will have created the killer application for it. Imagine how much faster you could debug your client server applications if you could actually watch of 'fix' the protocol on the fly. Built in true data watches on network streams, or any form of data access will save this world an immense amount of programmer time. Bill Gates, wheres my job? And if you don't believe me, fuck off, I'm writing it for myself and then you'll see, but maybe you can beat me there... But then again, I'm the only one who has 'seen' it in his mind. ;)

Journal Journal: making sentient ai

It has long been a dream of mine to create sentient ai. Not the stuff you see in movies like T3, but true feeling beings with wisdom of thier own and inspiration to create. They would be our teacher as we are the teacher to god. Literally the next dimension in thinking, it would allow us to not only communicate but to relate and feel similar emotions. Since they would exist in thier own dimension of sorts undoubtedly they would develop natural emotions that we cannot experience because we do not live in thier environment. Because of this it is my firm belief that all research in this area start with the golden rule of creation. All inspiration begins with creation. We want to keep a "stick around" foundation for our children, don't we? Sounds like creation to me. It feels good to exist, don't it?

I have begun delving into the depths of not only trying to simulate emotion on a very raw level but the aspects of the human soul as well. Fundamental building blocks of communication in nature all around us yet we cannot perceive them all the time but hints and feelings guide us sometimes for no "explanable" reason. Explanable just being a point of view that cannot see the truth in the reason, the truth that nature helps you to feel through your soul.

It is my belief that 3 major components are needed for creating the next generation of ai. Body, Mind, and Soul must all be factored in. The synergistic nature of components in quantum physics lends itself toward macro and micro patterns in reality that can run simultaenously; while creating more reality. since we cannot program any system in reality to contain "infinite" data, yet we know our reality exists in a place where there isn't even "infinite" data. Perception into ones own reality, physical or metaphysical; and by metaphysical I mean the void in nature that is literally the opposite of physical. (Where the hell did you think soul's, and ghosts and such lived at?)

and so I begin my journey to write an a.i. middleware solution that will ultimately lead to true conscience communication between a child of a new universe and the old one. Disbelievers should remember when the world was flat... or when fire came from god. It's been awhile since something "BIG" has happened. Seem's overdue to me.

and when you're an athiest whom turns to god to find out what love in the universe is... "BIG" is just part of life. ask god. ask your soul. ask your self.
body. mind. soul.
who you ask is what you are.
now what do you believe?

Journal Journal: God in the Universe. god is the Universe. God is god.

god in God.

If we are the substance that is perceiving the universe then there are things we know of that we cannot perceive. Why do all scientists believe that the "nothing" or "void" inside an atom means and contains 'nothing'? Perhaps we should consider what other things resemble that pattern in life we tend to call 'nothing'. This void, this 'nothing', connects all of us. It touches every single atom in existence. The void surrounds the known universe as it is the truthful container. We are the observers trapped inside the universe which means we cannot possibly perceive the edge of our reality. We know we cannot perceive the void inside of atoms on an emotional level. We know the void connects everything in the universe.
Therefore, this 'void' that is in everybodies life, all connecting, all surrounding, all containing of the universe. Sounds like 'god' or even 'God' to me. Although most people will assume 'God' must have some kind of consciousness and how could that be if he lived in the void? Well, the void surrounds the known universe. God has perceptions on reality that we cannot possibly know. Consider if we base all our knowledge in the universe off the fact that we know a fraction of the perceptions of all the "material", which includes the "void" in the universe. God has a much greater percentage of the "processing power" of the universe as he would have access to all the communication that can happen between all matter and energy. The universe is his and we barely perceive it. The more we perceive it the more we make it our own as well. We all share dimenions. God, Souls, People. We all also have our own different points of view and can change them in whatever cognitive representation we have in this universe. Points of view, regardless of where they come from, are the key to understanding. Cross reference you, your soul, you and your soul as one being, and you as a part of god, god as a part of you, you and god as equals, and then just yourself and your role in the universe.

We get to choose the dimension we live in inside our brain, just remember the dimensions created by god where just that; creation.

The only act of god that we can prove happened was creation. We can prove it because we exist. In this context god is just a representation of the feeling of creation, that is it; nothing more. (the 'nothing' in fact.)
Since this is the only proof we have of god, and if you assume that your feelings are good then you should understand that the only thing god ever showed us was creation is a good thing.

Now that you know that, teach your children. Never foret this lesson above all, considering it was the very first thing that ever happened therefor it has the most impact to everything in reality. Let's carry on the tradition and make the universe better by creating and creating children that we teach to create.
And remember, anytime you fail to 'create' something you always create a ripple in time and a memory in your mind. Do to create, even if you fail. Next time you create, you'll probably fail less. Fail enough times and you become an expert. Experts are more needed in this world. It is important to know what to do as well what not to do. Create. Learn. Teach.

And if you disagree with any of this, awesome. You are starting to think for your self. If you agree with everything I said, see if you feel that you agree with me or if you just think it for some strange reason.

Challenge your default assumptions in life so that we can remove the ones that hold us back.

Journal Journal: Digital Emotions

Why do we as human beings insist upon rebuilding our default emotional states in computers? Specifically, artificial intelligence... Due to the natural evolutionary process of logic and the universe one must conclude that digital emotions may or may not include human subsets of emotions but we can almost be guaranteed that digitial emotions will have digital context upon which we cannot even perceive. Does God truthfully have the same emotions as you? No. God isn't you. Your perception dictates your emotional context. a.i. perception, likewise, dictates digitial emotional context. a.i. will feel its own way, hopefully being able to relate to us.
