You mean employees are not considered as investment anymore. Nowadays, workforce expenses are just another accounting variable that, like the rest, you have to minimise. Manager salaries and shareholders dividends are completely different though. For some (which ?) reason they should always be increased.

So you dump stuff into a giant whirlpool and you're shocked to find that the stuff ends up in various random place. Maybe they thought it would magically disappear ? Oh sorry, we are talking about science.

I was looking at a river last fall and was shocked to see all the dead leaves agglomerated at a few random place.

The company will be hosting a developer conference in June, ARM will be holding one of the major keynotes and it appears that AMD is making sure that we aren't ignoring the implications of this appearance. So, could AMD be building ARM processors, or is AMD just rubbing Intel's nose in it? ARM-based AMD processors for smartphones combined with AMD GPUs could be an enticing opportunity for AMD.

StarCraft II To Be Released On July 27 220

Blizzard announced today that StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, the first game in a series of three, will be released on July 27. The game will contain the Terran campaign (29 missions), the full multiplayer experience, and "several challenge-mode mini-games," with "focused goals designed to ease players into the basics of multiplayer strategies." It will launch alongside the revamped, which we've previously discussed. Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime said, "We've been looking forward to revisiting the StarCraft universe for many years, and we're excited that the time for that is almost here. Thanks to our beta testers, we're making great progress on the final stages of development, and we'll be ready to welcome players all over the world to StarCraft II and the new in just a few months."
