chadenright writes: Lindsey Kratochwil writes in Popular Mechanic that researchers of the antarctic Brown Skua can differentiate between individual researchers and will attack only people who have repeatedly invaded their homes, ignoring strangers.

Won Young Lee, a researcher in the antarctic, said that this discernment between innocent passers-by and repeat offenders shows "very high levels of cognitive abilities."
