Submission + - Probes to Mars, Titan and a Comet Compete for NASA (yahoo.com)

MarkWhittington writes: "NASA has announced there are three finalists, culled from 28 proposals, for the next Discovery class robotic space mission to take place in 2016. These finalists include a Mars lander, a probe that would float on the methane seas of Titan, and robotic explorer that would land several times on a comet. The Discovery mission is capped at $425 million, not including launch costs."
