What if we were to take our passion for whatever it is that we are so crazy about as to want to blog about it every day, and combine it with our need to make an income? We would have blogging for profit.
(email not shown publicly) http://bbdetail.com/ After reading alot of posts on slashdot I've come to 2 conclusions:
1)There are a ****ton of people on this site with a world of technical knowledge.
2)I am not one of them
I suppose I'm a lurker. At this point I don't feel I've got too much to contribute. When it comes to technology, I'm not up on the latest. When it comes to technical expertise, I do things like read "Programming for Dummies," and attempt to learn how to hack wireless networks for no grander purpose than to access my gramma's wifi (since she lost her WEP key somewhere in the clutter of her home.
Generally speaking, I feel like a the real nerds must think I'm a real dork, but hopefully through a little help from my friends here at slashdot, I can also one day be upgraded to a real bonafide nerd (or at least maybe look like one in front of my friends who aren't savvy enough to earn the title of "nerd")!
Programmers used to batch environments may find it hard to live without
giant listings; we would find it hard to use them.
