Open Source. Free software. I don't completely understand the difference, but I still get tired of people dumping dirt on other people just because they have a different philosophy on how to write software.
Business practices, sure. Greed and gluttony, sure.
But we all have our own priorities. I've been told that I'll eventually "grow up" and stop insisting on using Linux. But my reasons for using Linux no longer focus on the fact that I can see the source code, or that I can change the source code, or that other people can see and change it.
While those still play a major role in my decision, I think my biggest reason for using GNU/Linux is that it works better, and I can only expect it to improve.
