writes: Not new data by any regard, but this is an extremely impressive animated presentation by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts featuring the voice of Dan Pink presents a very good summary of the data showing that outside of mechanical tasks, motivations to be productive don't necissarily follow income — but rather have been shown to have an inverse ralationship with compensation levels.
The most difficult thing in the world is to know how to do a thing and to
watch someone else doing it wrong, without commenting.
