Submission + - SCO Exec Joins Microsoft (

I Don't Believe in Imaginary Property writes: "Sandeep Gupta, a SCO exec best known for his badly flawed 'comparisons' of SCO and Linux code, has now joined Microsoft as Director of Technical Competitive Strategy of the Server & Tools Division at Microsoft. Groklaw, of course, still has copies of all his public statements and depositions, as well as an analysis of how very bad his technical work was by such people as Dr. Randall Davis of MIT and Brian W. Kernighan. So, while he's not very skilled technically, Microsoft certainly believes he acquired some valuable skills from his work at SCO."
It's funny. Laugh.

Submission + - Japanese official consumes epical amount of porn (

RemyBR writes: "Officials in Kinokawa, Japan, demoted a senior official after they discovered that he had logged "more than 780,000 hits" on pornographic websites during a nine month period. The Associated Press says no one noticed that the 57-year-old was spending a big chunk of his day viewing pornographic material on the government-owned computer until technicians tried to remove a virus from his computer. How is that possible?"
