Submission + - Foxconn workers forced to sign 'no suicide' pledge (dailymail.co.uk)

Lord_of_the_nerf writes: The Centre for Research on Multinational Companies and Students & Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour (Sacom) found that workers in Foxconn factories (producing iPads and iPhones) were forced to sign pledges that they would not commit suicide and also limit the amount their families could claim. Apparently suicide is so common that netting has been placed around the buildings around the worker housing.
