Submission + - Can the Internet save Nikola Tesla's only remaining lab? (facebook.com)

GuNgA-DiN writes: "The Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe just posted a plea for help on their Facebook page:

"We need to raise the money to buy Wardenclyffe quickly. Looking for a substantial grant or donation to make this possible. Does anyone have some good connections to possible funding sources?"

A single donation from someone like Sergey Brin or Mark Zuckerberg could save this place for future generations. The foundation is looking to raise $850k to buy the property from AGFA. They have arranged for a matching grant from NY State. And, they are a 501 (c) 3 not for profit so all donations are tax deductible. Can the Internet save Nikola Tesla's only remaining lab?
