Chinese netizen took the opportunity to ridicule the TV station: (in Chinese) "We played My Mothrland [a patriotic, anti-America song] in the White House, and now we give back by playing patriotic American song in Tiangong. Who said we Chinese are not humorous?" wrote an Internet commentator.
