Journal FortKnox's Journal: The (Hopefully) Great Slashdot Blackout 1

Just giving more hits to Rho's Journal Entry about the (Hopefully) Great Slashdot Blackout.

I'm gonna do something unusual and not give an opinion on this. I dunno how I feel about this, but I'll probably try to participate.

Anyway, quit reading my journal, and go read his. Jamie even contributed his opinions on the matter.

OK, I'll add one little eentsie opinion. All those SQL Queries and hits? Wouldn't it be nicer to use nice EJB's with prepared statements and a nice persistance pattern on a solid container? I bet that'd double slashdot's speed. Just need to put in tomcat and JBoss... But I guess that's another rant...
