The Ninja Handbook 111

Aeonite writes "Equal parts ninja geekery and pop-cultural satire, The Ninja Handbook falls into that odd category of book that presents fiction as reality. Numerous Guides to Piracy have been published, and more than a few authors have taken a crack at Zombie Survival Guides, the most popular spin-off being the zombie novel World War Z, which is now on its way towards Hollywood. Microsoft Buyout of Ailing Sony Possible 363

imashoe writes "BonaFideReviews has published an interesting article stating that a Microsoft buyout of Sony is quite possible sometime in the not-so-far future. From the article: 'All this added up, you have to ask yourself. Will the next Playstation you purchase post-PS3 run a Microsoft operating system and have backwards compatibility for PS1 PS2 PS3 Xbox and Xbox360? Putting your rabid love for Sony aside, this doesn't seem as far fetched as it once did, when the Sony name wasn't covered in enough red tape to fill the Grand Canyon.'"

One reason might be to make sure they always have a web browser that works with their stuff. It wouldn't be beyond Microsoft's tactics for them to suddenly add some "feature" to IE that suddenly makes all of Google's Cool Stuff stop working well.

Also, if Google can promote adoption of Opera as a solid replacement for IE, the result will be that Microsoft's dominance is reduced. This is a Good Thing.
