But they promised us personal TV's for our apartments that we can buy and then use to stream media from our PS3 to anyone who is in the apartment with us. (radios do the same with music, and picture frames do the same with pictures) At least this is what I have read.

when did CS get ads? are you talking about the welcome screen when you join a server? because that's specified by the server, and clans usually put their site or something in there. Those sometimes have ads, but I don't remember seeing any other ads in the game.
