traveller.ct writes: Following the proposed outlawing of laser pointers in New South Wales, Australia, police discovered that the alleged laser attack on a reporter was actually an art installation by the council in the Parramatta Central Business District. In light of this discovery, how many reported incidents were actually unintentional? Was the risk of people targetting laser pointers at aeroplanes and helicopters overplayed?
