the famed incident was more of a social engineering hack than anything else. Which, lets be fair, you can have the best security in the world, but humans are the biggest weaknesses in any real system.

Security is a constantly evolving game - people are constantly developing exploits. Could Apple be better? Everyone can. Are they bad? I don't think they are horrible.

Hell, how many people don't even have PIN screens setup on their phone. Most people just don't care at all.

In reality - she wanted it both ways. She leveraged the Internet mob (her twitter followers) on the two guys that "offended" her.

Yet, we know the Internet mob is a fickle beast. She got the reaction she wanted - but - it also lashed back at her. They brutally attacked her.

Which, who knows, that could have been part of the scheme all along. She knew the Internet kids would strike back with real sexism and real attacks - validating the "hatred against women" she wants to perpetuate.

Live by the mob, die by the mob.

Two people at a conference telling jokes you find offensive? Ok, say something to them. Her taking it to Twitter is no different than the faceless drones threatening her via twitter - too coward to confront someone face to face - instead attacking someone via the Internet.

She is a self described activist, who is too afraid to confront two nerds?

A bit of human decency, on both parties (aka: talking to another human being) would have mitigated this entire situation and two people would still have their jobs.

Ah yes, the people that live in la-la-land. Software development costs money. Shock! The whole "Give me free forever after I give you the cost of a cup of Starbucks" is astounding. What you propose is nothing more than a ponzi scheme, where new customers subsidize the ones from years ago. Hint: It doesn't work.

Unless you are a complete idiot, every American already took a 3% cut in income Jan 1 due to FICA going back up. So, when we all took an income hit we were told "suck it up" - when the government takes a hit in additional spending (remember they are only cutting the rate of growth, not actual spending cuts) - Obama and Congress run around like the world is ending.
