Submission + - Interview with Old Skool Webcomic Creators
xerexes writes: "Remember when Penny Arcade was on LooneyGames? When User Friendly and Sluggy Freelance were the biggest comics online?
Back then the biggest webcomic portal around was BigPanda.net, ground zero for the big bang of online comics we have today.
Comixpedia interviewed several of these early online comic pioneers about BigPanda and that whole era of webcomics. Some of them are fairly big names today — creators like Chris Crosby (Superosity, Sore Thumbs, Keenspot), Josh Lesnick (Girly), John Allison (Scary Go Round) and David Willis (Short Packed) and most are still making webcomics today. It's an interesting look at a time when the whole idea of putting comics online was still fairly novel."
