Man, I really want to move to Kansas so I can live in Dub's Dread. Dub's Dread: I am the law!

It'd only be cool till you realized that it's a suburb named after a golf course that's named after . . . a different golf course.

That's even better! Can I send them all my hipster douchebags around here? We're all full up.

Why would you ever veer off a bridge, causing structure damage? A bus hitting a car will most likely just cause vehicle damage, and some people will be inconvenienced. That's what you get for riding the bus.

Why wouldn't the driverless bus and driverless car stop and avoid the situation completely? Sounds more like a decision problem, not a morality problem.

I don't think I'd be able to stand on the slippery ground you do. What do you think Operation Shock and Awe was for except to aid occupation? I'd say you contributed most definitely to occupation.

But it looks like the experience has changed your view; maybe there's something to that mandatory military service after all?

the first time, they swore that their goal was to ensure he was a 1-term president.

As the number of minorities increases, it will be interesting to see how the Republican party responds. There was a lot of chatter last night on the news networks about how Bush really mobilized the Latino vote, but Romney couldn't get any of it in this election.

Some predicted someone like Marco Rubio, Senator from Florida as a potential Republican candidate in 2016. It will be interesting to see what happens to the Republican party if the son of Cuban immigrants is their candidate for President. Either the party will evolve, or it will simply cease to be relevant in American politics.

Find out your potential market. There may be a reason there is currently no last-mile provider; perhaps people use cellular data or satellite or have just decided that dial-up is ok.

There's some great advice above about starting a small company, but don't go to all that trouble unless you know there will be enough customers to make it worth your while; don't start a business with a product that no one wants.

However, if you want to start a business that has one customer: you, then starting a small ISP sounds like a great way to subsidize your Internet cost and perhaps a good tax write-off as long as you don't pop-up on the IRS's radar.
