Wouldn't time have the be the 1st dimension? I suppose you could have spatial dimensions without time, but there would be no way to observe them.
It's a Slashdotter masturbation frenzy. Everyone will get in with a comment about how they're so smart for not believe anything on Fox news, and they'll try to top each other in contests of cleverness by substituting "Faux" for "Fox" because nothing impresses the ladies like snide misspellings.
Ahh, so you fear what you don't understand. Very human of you. Doesn't make you right, just afraid.
I'm sure, if that were necessary to have prepared, the US military could have it set up. They're awfully good at logistics and weapons delivery systems.
Nothing like watering down the meaning of the word "evil" to "I don't like having to pay for phone service."
"We'd like you to work hard to spread free entertainment" isn't a compelling cause. Who would have guessed that.
Yeah except authors like to do things like "eat" and "wear clothes" and "have somewhere to live" and I'm guessing you can't afford to provide that for all of them, so we needed another system while the technology caught up.
That's cool and all, "live" all you want - but don't go bitching that you don't have that good life you "deserve."
The single menu bar is, to me, garbage, and I say this as a Mac user. Love on the idea of an infinite target till the end of time, but the modern mouse is a precision tool and it doesn't require significantly more effort or time to hit an in-window menu.
I have a serious problem with anyone who believes I must act for the benefit of society as a whole, not the least part of which no one is qualified to judge that benefit.
Many people assume that a photograph being published by a news source has been validated to be accurate and objective.
No one is responsible for your assumptions, and there's no logical way you can ever push that responsibility to any other human being.
I laughed
You aren't mentioning the someone making 40,000 accepting a loan he knew he couldn't pay back, which is equally unconscionable. Let's not be intellectually dishonest here.
The problem here is simple. There are the have-lots, who have lots of stuff, then there are the want-lots, who want to have lots of stuff. Trouble is, the want-lots want the have-lots to somehow be forced to supply the stuff. Apparently because they feel that, having been born, they've done everything they need to do and they are now entitled to everything they want. I think. I'm not super clear on that part yet, no one has actually articulated anything beyond "I WANT LOTS OF STUFF."
Basically, this is what happens when coddled kids come of age.
I've noticed several design suggestions in your code.
