Assange also claimed he had a "poison pill" file he'd release if he were arrested.

No he didn't. I challenge you to find a single quote from him saying anything even remotely like that. All the "poison pill" stuff has been speculation by commentators and pundits regarding the insurance.aes256 file - but Assange hasn't said one word about what that file is or what anyone might do with it.

Direct quote from Assange himself:

The Cable Gate archive has been spread, along with significant material from the US and other countries to over 100,000 people in encrypted form. If something happens to us, the key parts will be released automatically.

Granted, he didn't mention insurance.aes256 directly, but I'm not aware of any other encrypted archives being distributed on such a large scale, so I can't imagine what else he could be referring to. Also note that he said "if something happens to us," not "if something happens to me."

I was a fan of SG-1, and I enjoyed it for (almost) the entire run. Atlantis wasn't so great, but I watched it anyway. When SGU aired, I was a little disappointed at first, thinking it was just a mix between Atlantis and BSG. (And maybe that's all it is anyway...) That said, after a rough beginning, I really started enjoying the show, and I was hooked by the end of the first season. Now we're well into the second season and things are starting to get even more interesting (control of the ship, new interesting aliens, Destiny's mission). I feel like the show is breaking new ground where SG-1 and Atlantis stagnated, and there is a lot of exciting potential. I don't really understand why so many fans turned against SGU. It's a different format, given, and there are some sappy moments, but in all, I think the good elements outweigh the bad, and there is a lot of potential. SGU is a great sci-fi series, and apparently that means it's destined to be canned.

I really hope someone else picks up SGU. SyFy is dead to me. (FWIW, I watch exclusively on Hulu.)

Why not use that tag for something useful that can aid in searching articles and what not. Pedantic bastards.

I think having such technical tags such as "typoinsummary" can be handy for analysis. It's kind of hard to think of an example right now, but it seems to me that being able to search through thousands of summaries and instantly identifying which of them contains (or contained) an error could indeed be useful in some cases.
