No he is not, if they want to pay him to document and he agrees to take the money sure but once you don't work there it's there problem. If they were on a document he should have left it at the place of business or returned it to them (corp property) but something intangible is not property it's knowledge. I am not sure this is what happened in this case. Most states you have 30 days to return corp property once you have been terminated and they can not hold your paychecks etc till you do. Now if you had a documented policy requiring hit by a bus password safes, and audited them (the once a year go though and change them) and the person neglected to do so you might be able to sue him for the damages do to his neglect or willful destruction of them.

Specific to this case it's the cops and the DA having a pissing contest and not wanting to loose.

If you're on a Windows box, you can achieve the same overall effect by increasing the size of your icons and fonts. A quick tip for most internet browsers is that you can change the size of things on a web page by holding control and then using the scroll wheel on your mouse. This works for almost everything in Microsoft office as well. There are a lot of useability options rolled in there, believe it or not so I'd say take the 20 minutes to learn to tweak your OS and you can save the hundreds of $ you'd spend on a new monitor.

On the other hand, it's very likely that the earth already had some, if not most of the water that it has in it's current state. Water is not hard to come by in our solar system by any means (see: Mars, Europa, Charon). Being that there is little we can conclude about the formation of the moon, I believe there's little reason to think that the Earth's present amount of water came from outside sources. Occam's razor would suggest that Earth's water formed from the large amount of hydrogen and oxygen present during the early stages of its formation.

Remember that out there exists a person who wants telemundo who has to pay for ESPN, G4, Discovery, or whatever you're interested in so they can watch their channel. I'm all for cheaper options but if you google a la cart cable, you'll find a lot of arguments against it that have studies showing you may end up paying more depending on what you want. While you are subsidizing other peoples channels, other people are subsidizing yours. Unfortunately this system results in the communistic, channel overloaded, profit driven system we have today, but if we didn't have this then some channels might be tossed out by the wayside.

I'll admit some of these studies are probably payed for by cable companies and I wouldn't cry if MTV2 were to disappear forever. Of course there would be a lot of teens crying because they're missing out on "Yo, dawg, I heard you like cars..."

Advertising gets weirder and weirder. I don't understand how this is supposed to get someone to buy a car. The only thing I could think of is she didn't had a car so maybe she's supposed to buy a Toyota so she can get the hell away? I think it's lost on me.

It's legal and you can make money doing it. There are scammers, grifters, schemers, and thieves out there too, so I would say day traders have more worth than that. Day trading is just another way to support yourself or your family by using your talents. Casinos do pretty much the same thing except they lower your odds in exchange for entertainment and booze. At least with day trading, you contribute to a real economy. Heck, even WoW probably has people that daytrade within that economy and then sell their in game profit for real money.

This sounds like it could be equally as useful to an online poker player (I know many). All it would take is some marketing to the poker community.

Your tax dollars already go to bridges you'll never use, abortions that religious/moral people want nobody to have, jailing people for being in possession of a marijuana joint, fighting wars that some people agree with but others don't, keeping alive corporations who have become inefficient and uncompetitive, supporting litigation against file sharing, and giving money that you'll never see again to the elderly. You'll never seem a dime of what you pay towards any of these things, so the best thing you can actually do is light up and dip into some of that money when you develop your own health problems.
