Time for a class action lawsuit against HP, ect. I am paying for the ink. If I send a job to the printer I expect to use the ink for that job, not extra stuff that HP doesn't inform me about. Either pay for my ink to do this or remove the "feature".
Terrible decision. Network neutrality (or lack there of) is a technical decision. Don't need people who don't understand the technical details and the impact of such a policy make those decisions. This is nothing more than lobbying and politics being played with the SEC which is a body that should remain politic free.
Just what we need, more government to deal with too much government.
How about TSA agents who are working in the back room are not allowed to have cell phones and have that law punishable by automatic termination and 90 days in jail. That would solve the possible problem of cell phone cameras overnight.
So the federal government will subsidize the research costs of private organizations who will reap all of the profit (of commercially viable technology) while taking all of the risk while on the other side, the taxpayer will continue to subsidize politicians pet projects (Solyndra) of technology that has no commercial value.
Great deal for corporations, bad deal for the consumer.
How did this post get +2? Inciting class warfare and force private citizens to buy private products with private money from private company or face possible jail is far more "hateful" and negative to the country than anything Santorum has stated.
LOL, Kickstarter is the biggest scam on the planet. So I give them money to develop a product. *I* take the *risk* and they reap all of the reward. If I am going to invest into an idea, it will be for equity in that idea, not a free ride for someone else to possibly make millions..
Who know the earths climate changes over time.
If you look at the graphs (http://berkeleyearth.org/analysis.php) you can see that the warming period skyrocketed in the 1970s yet didn't during the industrial revolution.
What is at dispute is the *cause* of the temperature fluctuations. Some believe that it is simply the earths natural cycles while others (usually those who have a financial interest) believe that it is caused 100% by man.
