Yeah they are man. If users stop consuming reddit then the site dies
People often confuse who the "customers" of a service are when money comes from other sources. The typical users of a "free" service are not the product and they are the customers. Additionally there are other customers (advertisers) that are buying attention/screen real estate of the typical users in exchange for money. Without the users, the advertisers won't spend money so the users have to be kept happy if the service is to make money.
The Chevy Volt is a bit different than most PHEV in that the ICE powertrain is purely for generating electricity, not for turning the wheels. It's basically like hauling a generator around. It also has safe guards to run the ICE if the gas is getting too old to keep it from going bad
It's probably more likely they don't have easy access to plug in the car. For people that have a dedicated parking spot/garage with a charger it's so trivial I don't see why anyone wouldn't do it.
That's definitely a benefit, but not really comparable to an electric vehicle which doesn't even have MPG
The Prius line was still just a gas hybrid vehicle, not a plug-in and it doesn't really share any of the challenges or benefits of an electric vehicle. Tesla really got the ball rolling in the market by making a "cool" car that happened to be electric rather than an eco-friendly one.
Well for one, they've been thoroughly reviewed by now and there wasn't anything substantial in them, just typical moderation behavior. For another, they represent one (former) social media company which doesn't apply to the industry. Other companies have different moderation policies.
It's become sort of a "buttery males" call that right-wing trolls make as if just saying "twitter files" will prove their point without going into any specifics.
Imagine Republicans going back to their constituents and telling them they voted for a border bill! What outrage there would be for action on the border!
Address the crushing liberalism sitting in the teachers seat, and get the politics out of education.
Of course anyone that's actually been in or listened to a typical college class knows that's nonsense. Politics doesn't come up in 99% of classes (obviously it will if it's a class on political history or something).
Critical thinking is what's lacking these days, people just believe whatever they hear from talking heads
It's a good thing for people to have these types of jobs in high school or college. Once they've graduated we want them to be able to use their skills at higher level jobs
This post right here is a prime example of what people start to think when exposed to misinformation. Basically a bingo card for discredited conspiracy theories.
Which is why the law shouldn't be changed because we all want moderation on Internet services. No one wants to jump onto a site full of bots
Wow people seriously talk about "Twitter Files" in 2024? Talk about grasping for straws
It would just end up being all bots if the site wasn't allowed to moderate its own content without being fully liable for the content.
