Trying to watch a show or film on a TV with two tiny speakers is not a good experience. As TVs have gotten flatter, and screens larger, there is less room for decent speakers. Even cheap 2.0 or 2.1 kits are not much better because they lack a center channel. Good soundbars are better, but a true 3.0 or 3.1 system makes a huge difference in dialogue intelligibility.

Not sure why this is being voted down. This post is describing basic humanity - treat each other with at least a moderate amount of respect until they prove themselves unworthy. No one deserves to be stabbed to death - or murdered in the street by any other means.

It took me quite a while to recollect that Spice was a thing and what it was.

I'm in the process of refitting my office and replacing my iMac. I'll likely go with a Mini along side a NUC like this enabling me to switch between the two with shared monitors and peripherals.

Every few years I go and check to see if SL is still around. I'm surprised that it has lasted, but I'm also impressed with their commitment.

We don't need another social media platform. Dorsey spending his time reimagining something he's already done - and that was done nearly 20 years ago - is boring to say the least.

This reminds me of the paragraphs book that came with the original Wasteland game release. The game would refer you to a specific paragraph. The book was filled with fake paragraphs though, so if you just started reading in order to cheat you likely would find a trap that was end your game.

If manufacturers keep moving towards soldered in components that cannot be upgraded, and super thin devices that are difficult to work on without specialized skills, expect this trend to continue. That goes not only for PC lines, but Apple lines as well.
