But they should be applying their knowledge and resolve issues quickly, another delay will just be more bad news for their future.

The lack of education will just increase the pool of manual labour workers and thus keep their salaries low.
This is a short sighted government policy, maybe trying to please friends or relatives that own agriculture or industrial businesses.

Admission requirements to higher education will seem impossible to meet for these students and so are forced to remain and compete for a low wage job.

Their only hope is to still have internet access and discipline themselves to self educate. Then challenge admission exams to hope the opportunity for a higher education.

Well if nobody has time to write or read essays, then lets go back to the old tradition of oral exams.
Your grading of your knowledge can be provided much faster. Maybe some feedback or prep-talk can be given to help those nervous to speak in public.
Maybe the student should do it in front of a "jury" of instructors or TAs so there is no doubt of fair scoring.
Instructors will not have to carry a suitcase of hundreds of papers to read and grade over the weekend.

Well don't copy hundreds of lines of code into the ChatGPT text box and ask it to add new features or to figure out what's wrong. The (human) developer should be able to plan for new features or troubleshoot the code.

What ChatGPT is useful for is to retrieve basic algorithms, code syntax and EXAMPLES of how to do something.
One thing I was having trouble with and couldn't google the exact answer was how to connect to Active Directory and verify credentials using NodeJS.
ChatGPT gave an example of how to do just that. Time saver!

If you can manage to have a good environment to get real REM sleep
(dark cool room, no noise, not having heavy meals) is probably more important to keep you creative.

Lets not forget that AI is trained on the selected sources you provide it.
If my sources favour obfuscated code and only that AI can make changes then I have to pay a premium to maintain that code.
I think the current expectation is that AI will write clear elegant code. But that will go against keeping you as a customer. I think greed will force AI to create a lot of obfuscated code.

Then by not having AM built in your new car, people will buy it as an accessory.
Amazon and Ebay will be full of them!

The government keeping control is waay more valuable than money.
Mainly keeping organized crime in check is one of the reasons. Not identifying who made big currency transactions prevents having control on knowing how you made your money and what can you buy out, pricing everybody else out of the market.

The barrier to entry is the enormous need for hardware to back these AI systems.
Google had ample time to expand their services but they got distracted by the sweet ad money.
