Something has gone badly wrong if you can't stop people burning coal and tyres to mine crypto, without also affecting the transition to EVs.
It's a weird one. They had almost finished work on season 2, in post-production. Then they suddenly cancelled it.
The way it works now is that the studio that produced it under licence can sell it to other networks, so they managed to get Netflix to pick it up. Really glad they did because it's great. Hopefully it does well and gets renewed.
Prodigy season 1 is one of the best seasons of Star Trek ever produced. While I'm not really into ranking shows, it's up there as one of the best, easily the equal of TNG and even DS9 at their best.
It boils down the essence of what it means to be Starfleet, and gives a new perspective on it. Often in Trek they talk about the principles of being a Starfleet officer, but then fail to show what they mean on a personal level, how they help someone grow into a better person, and cope with the challenges they are faced with.
It's a great adventure, the characters are interesting and show more depth than most of the TNG main cast did in 7 seasons. It really is top notch Trek. The opening is pretty great too.
Perhaps you can see why people don't take you seriously when that's your reaction. It's not even addressing the claim being made.
Like a lot of shows, it's what you make of it. I'm again reminded of Trek, where there are some dire episodes, but you can still appreciate them on some level if you are minded to.
We gotta stop the Deep Chicken!
Or was that Deep Fried Chicken?
If you are from Europe then how can you be so clueless about it? The high end smartphone market is alive and well here, it's just that there is more competition so we have flagships in the â800+ range from several different manufacturers.
