About 450 millions of years from now, the heat output from the Sun will increase the weathering of silicate minerals, which will cause CO2 concentration in the atmosphere to fall below the level needed for photosynthesis to occur. Plant life will die off, followed by animal life. The Earth will be a dead planet very, very soon in geological terms. Then the temperature will continue to rise until the surface will be scorched dry. Then the long decay, as the Sun expands into a red giant, the temperature on Earth rises above 2000 C turning it into an ocean of magma - effectively erasing any trace mankind or even life had ever been there. And at the ends, the fall into the Sun and complete annihilation. Our whole history disintegrated into atoms. That's what will happen. So, we don't have billions of years and probably not even millions since the average life expectancy of a species is lower than that. And you know NOTHING about science.
