Comment Composer (Score 2, Interesting) 44

That's why you should not use tools like Composer blindly. I see developers drag in hundreds of megabytes of ibraries for only one simple function or feature, because they are too lazy do to some research and coding themselves. Also no research in the library's security history, no looking at the code itself, no testing of its security or robustness. If it works, they're fine with it. Although a thing like Composer can be good, the way it's being used now by developers, it's pure evil.

Does your country allow for the purchase of private health insurance - supplemental or main?
- No need. Everybody in my country has a health insurance, by law.

Does your country allow for company founders to own and control their companies?
- Own like in 'I can do with it whatever I want'? No, specially when you have employees, there are rules to follow in order to protect them.

Does your country have any billionaires? Bernie doesn't want that.
- No many, but yeah, we have a few. I think they should be ashamed of themselves.

PHP attracts all kinds of developers. The good and the bad ones. The reason is that PHP is so easy. Easy to write and easy to deploy. Itâ(TM)s not PHPâ(TM)s fault that so many people suck at writing code. So, itâ(TM)s not PHP with the awful security record, itâ(TM)s those many PHP developers with an awful security record. Itâ(TM)s not difficult to write a secure website with PHP. Take a look at this PHP framework for example. Proofs that there is nothing wrong with PHP.
