Yesterday the Cloudflare CEO said that 8chan would be able to get similar services from a Cloudflare competitor. If no Cloudflare competitor and no hardware provider wants to deal with 8chan then that would reflect that very few people want to hear what they have to say. It is important to protect vile speech but I don't think we should subsidize it like you seem to be suggesting. If there are people who want to hear the vile speech then let them pay for it. Don't force others to pay for it or support it.

This is probably true but that does not mean we should subvert the marketplace of ideas by subsidizing the most unpopular ones.

Which causes the drug prices in the USA to be higher. The drug companies have to recoup the costs of developing the drugs. If they cant recoup them in Canada then they will just charge the USA Canada's share.

I see this posted a lot but it is not true. Plants take the C02 and break it down into carbon and Oxygen. It then bonds the carbon to into a variety of substances from C6H12O6 to (C6H10O5)n

Even if you burn the tree to ash, ash is CaCO3 removing some carbon. Heck in most cases burning, leaves charcoal which is carbon.

If the tree is left to decay, in most cases the bacteria and fungus breakdown the compounds in the tree and recombined them into new things. Most wood fungus breaks down the cellulose and turns it into chitin C8H13O5N

All in all it is not as simple as saying you have to keep the wood or trees for ever.

I could go into a lot more detail about what happens to trees. Out BY my ranch there is 5000 acres of trees are all destine to become paper, dimensional lumber, etc. Most of that carbon will be sequestered for decades or longer.

Personally, I keep my ranch as a carbon sink. I just maintain it as needed and let everything grow wild.

Things have gotten worse for the working class even though the economy as a whole is booming. Of course, the policies put in place by Trump (lower taxes on the rich) and the policies he fights for (dismantle the healthcare system for non-wealthy people) make the situation worse, not better. Is it really that expensive to read a persons resume and spend 10 to 15 min talking to the ones that appear qualified on their resume? A good interviewer can easily assess a persons skill set and knowledge by talking to them. It does not have to be adversarial!
