All drone issues are solved if you simply implement the Colorado law allowing people to purchase drone hunting licenses. If a drone is doing something anyone dislikes, it will be removed from the sky legally. That should put a big cap on annoying uses of drones and frankly I'm not sure there would be any left between the people annoyed and those hunting the drones just for the hell of it.

Also I have had rocks turn over on splayed tripod legs, so the middle of the segments laying over rocky areas may not be safe.

Currently people don't seem very keen on buying touch-screen laptops. But lots of laptop makers also bundling Android means suddenly there's a kind of compelling case to get one, where at least there is a selection of software you could run.

Either one apart is not selling that well, but perhaps together they can combine into a Voltron like force to take on Apple.

It will be very interesting to see how these devices end up managing the division.

That said one of the newer Seagate drives scored faster in a speed check. Not sure what to make of that.

Just from experience in moving spindly legs around rubble (camera tripod), I can see one potential issue the video doesn't make clear - the support struts can easily get wedged in rocks as they move around. Hopefully it can detect this before it bends a strut.

All they did, a few versions ago, is allow developers to sign apps, and distribute through the app store - they have made ZERO moves since then towards a "mandatory" app store.

If you think allowing developers to sign applications and having the OS ask before running anything unsigned (note that does NOT mean from the app store) is bad then you have not seen the average person's computer.

Competition is good. Copying is not. That's why copyright (and to a certain extent patents) exist.

Otherwise if you spend $10 million developing something, and anyone can steal it in an hour - no-one is going to spend $10 million to develop something again.

Also, selling something that looks almost exactly someone else's product hurts everyone, because it confuses consumers.
