"Are you harmed when someone writes some erotica story about you? Especially when the story is not distributed at all?" You're confabulating two very different things here. Share it widely and you're likely guilty of defamation and possibly some mental anguish. Keep it private and it is exactly that, private.

Defamation is when you say untrue things about a person that will damage their reputation. If the erotica is clearly fictional (e.g. is not presented as an account of actual events) then it's not defamation. If anyone's reputation would be harmed by it, it would probably be the authors's.

How would you feel if someone pasted your face onto one of these avatars and had degrading gay sex with it? "Oh, but you're not being harmed", you say. Or are you?

I wouldn't mind. I'd be flattered that someone thought I was attractive enough that they'd want to have virtual sex with my avatar.

Thing is, when people say "diversity" they don't usually mean diversity. Examples:
  • Adding a black person to a white group makes that group more diverse, but not vice versa
  • The cast of "Crazy Rich Asians" was hailed for being diverse, even though-- as it says right there in the title-- they are all Asians.
  • "Increasing diversity" in hiring refers specifically to hiring more underrepresented minorities (generally: blacks, latinos, women); hiring an Indian a Chinese person or a Jew does not contribute to diversity.
  • Hiring a Republican does not increase diversity even if everyone in the group is a Democrat
  • Hiring more women in male-dominated fields increases diversity, but hiring men in female-dominated fields is not a "diversity issue".

Point is, "diversity" is just a cover for the interests of specific pressure groups.

You can actually still buy the old Macbook Airs with the classic, non-sucky keyboards.

I am typing this on one I only bought a couple months ago. The lady next to me was asking the mac guy which laptop to buy and I steered her towards it too, although obviously the mac guy was trying to get her to use the new ones.

Sounds like a dumb research project to me-- why would a sperm be affected by gravity? It lives inside a fluid which it is about the same density as, so it does not feel the pull of gravity. It's not like sperm are known to have an up/down directional preference; they will find the ovum the same no matter which side the woman is sleeping on.

The real issue is not gravity, it's cosmic radation. Frozen sperm won't be able to repair their DNA (not that I expect regular sperm can, either).
