I would disagree quite strongly with that.

C# has a few pockets where it is popular, but mostly because management feel "safer" with a Microsoft product. There are a couple of language features where C# learned from Java, but I don't know of anyone running Java who would even consider switching to C# for a second.

Google, Salesforce etc. are all built with Java. The big player I know of that uses MS tech is StackOverflow. Even Facebook uses some Java (to what extent, I don't know).

You were going on about the power train.

A Tesla model S Plaid straight out of the factory already accelerates faster than a formula 1 car: a lightweight, multimillion dollar carbon fibre race car with slicks.

If that doesnâ(TM)t impress you, you a) know nothing about cars and b) will never be convinced by anything.

The QV can only beat the plaid at Nurburgring? Thatâ(TM)s a one-trick pony. (Iâ(TM)m not saying this, itâ(TM)s just what you sound like)

99 out of 100 situations, the plaid will win.

And the race an Alfa will win most often is which one will need to need maintenance first.

But honestly, I donâ(TM)t care about it that much. The important thing is the plaid uses much less energy, you can charge it with solar, and it wonâ(TM)t cost the earth, compared to burning petroleum.

The form-factor alone will make it perform better. Lower roof means less drag and lower centre of gravity, it will have lower suspension also, which gives even lower CofG, giving better grip on the front wheels when accelerating, and better cornering, more stability and better grip in general. They can put bigger tyres on also, giving more acceleration when youâ(TM)re pushing the limits of grip.

There was a recent event where pilots were flying in clouds and became disorientated. They ended up doing a corkscrew dive, thinking they were flying straight and level... maybe thinking the controls were acting up slightly.

You only have to do a barrel roll to know that you can be upside down and it feels like right side up. A barrel roll straight down would feel even more comfortable.

Very few seem to realize what "unsustainable" means. It doesn't mean: "hippies don't like it". It means: "it's impossible to keep doing it". Trying to change things a tiny bit and expect that to fix it is insanity. We have to make big changes.

If we keep doing these things, it's going to bite us in the butt so hard, lots of the things we take for granted are going to stop working, like: "crops growing", "forests not catching fire", "tornados not happening wherever", "green pastures not turning into deserts".

Entire countries of starving people, animals, diseases and insect pests will arrive on our doorstep (not US-specific, counts for just about everyone).

Making small changes to unsustainable isn't going to solve anything. We have to stop doing it, whatever "it" is that we can reasonably survive without. And by that I mean Nascar. (only slightly serious)... but yeah, we gotta cancel Nascar.

So we need to plant more trees, we need to solve all the problems, but most of all, we need to stop burning shit.

It's quite easy, really: if they were in any way left-wing, they would have been labelled as such, as communist or whatever. If they were Islamic or foreign, they would have been labelled as terrorists, not "violent extremists". No-name violent extremists can only be white, right-wingers. Especially with the "will likely continue to plot", throwing their hands up in the air, there's nothing we can do attitude. If it was anyone else they'd have their face in the dirt and someone sitting heavily on their neck before you can say "I can't breathe".
