I guess non-volatile could be found as a negative. eg. It can be a security problem waiting to happen.
How does one charge $75,000 bucks for something that can be found in the land of open source?
I'm going to start counting download speeds in 15 bits/sec/hz now so I'll be ready for when it hits Texas.
I'm finding more frequently the reason people use a pirated version is to avoid this type of stuff. I'd be willing to bet only 25% of their customer base knows that. I'd also be willing to bet future customers are going to think twice about paying.
Why did Enfour do it? "Only 25% of our apps in use are legitimate copies. Piracy is threatening the survival of all independent devs," she wrote.
You are correct. The EU buys 2% more stuff from them. Anyway. I don't think either of us "need" the other. If you want to sell something to someone it helps for that someone to have money. It is one of those annoying facts.

Does that mean I don't need money to buy Chinese stuff? It tends to fall apart after about a week for me so that sounds like a good deal.
Ah cable when it came out. It sure was nice with no ads and little shorts to fill in while you wait for a show or movie to start. Then the zipper went down and
I guess high priced oil is working in our favor for once. Considering the majority of their market is here, they might even be realizing consumers with money buy stuff. Who'da thunk.
There you go. They did it to encourage people to buy multiple products from a company that's forward thinking is "garner information from customers".
Last I checked, online/cloud storage isn't that difficult a thing to get hold of. They could have designed a driver that will let you select config files from remote locations. Not that mounting a remote drive is a complex process. Offering a remote storage account for config files as part of buying the device would have made me think they were actually forward thinking. IMHO, it is pretty obvious where their thinking is heading.
Count me in too. Well, assuming "preparedness drills" involve donuts instead of pushups.
Exactly! So why the hell am I not allowed to take my monkey to the mall?!
Oh wow man. What was the topic? I forgot.
Does this mean Linus believes Linux on ARM isn't going to be crippled by UFEI?
How do you know they are not fattening?
No amount of careful planning will ever replace dumb luck.
