Given how karma farming is manipulated on reddit, this is going to to turn into dogshit fast.

There are several "super moderators" who are mods amongst many of the top subreddits who will routinely delete any popularly trending post and then repost it themselves for karma farming. If you complain or call them out, you get banned from the subreddit (and all the others they moderate for).

So you're telling me that the FBI violating FISA laws to issue 200,000 fisa warrants for people who were not under criminal investigation, the use of fabricated affidavits and fake evidence to justify wiretapping a presidential candidate at the behest of that candidates opposing political party, or the complete disregard for their own rules (and law) that the FBI exhibited when going after political proponents of opposing ideology is not indicative of the actions of the stasi during the cold war in silencing dissidents and opposition to their fascist regime?

At this point the FBI has lost all credibility.

Does anyone remember when the FBI admitted that their forensics department lied about DNA in hair analysis?.

And then there is the repeated violation of FISA laws by the FBI in abusing the FISA process to obtain wiretapping warrants when they otherwise would be denied through intentional misrepresentation of facts to the FISA courts.

The FBI are the stasi now.

No, the company violates Meta's TOU and creates fake profiles to try and phish other users for personal information and details.

The legality of this is questionable because the information obtained, and later provided to the LEO was obtained illegally via the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), 18 U.S.C. 1030

This raises issues on 2 reasons, 1.) How is this illegally obtained evidence being used? 2.) How can a LEO agency knowingly engage and encourage a private entity to knowingly violate federal law?

I'm betting Apple is only "pretending" to capitulate so they can "be involved" in shaping the legislation and leaving loopholes or sabotaging it.

Parallel construction

In the US, a particular form is evidence laundering, where one police officer obtains evidence via means that are in violation of the Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable searches and seizures, and then passes it on to another officer, who builds on it and gets it accepted by the court under the good-faith exception as applied to the second officer.[2] This practice gained support after the Supreme Court's 2009 Herring v. United States decision.[2]

There is only one reason to keep something like this quiet from the public and that is if it is used illicitly for parallel construction.

You should watch some of the state hearings by the Telecoms about this issue.

If the complete slimy, weasely and condescending bullshit the telecom's rep. present to lie and evade answering any questions doesn't infuriate you, the complete stupidity and inability to understand the situation by the state reps will.
