Almost ALL kids are better off after being adopted then being in the care of the government. Gay or straight adoptive parents has nothing to do with it.

You don't have to write any copyright info in it. The moment you write anything, it is copyrighted. You do have to register it to file suit however. Which means you can add copyright infringement to "take pictures of every page of your diary". Though you'd have to register your diary before filing that infringement suit.

I imagine if someone was planning on pirating the game, they wouldn't bother with downloading the demo. They'd just pirate a copy and use that as the demo. I also imagine that for a lot of people, if they had to pay for a demo, they'd rather just pirate it for free and demo it that way. I also imagine that if someone was planning on buying the game if the demo was good but had to pirate the game in order to demo it, they would be much less likely to buy the game now that they have the whole version pirated and already installed. So nothing good can come from this move.

Quite right. And I never claimed it was based on medical or scientific research. What I did claim was that youth violence is at its lowest levels in a long time. I then linked to an article which showed graphs compiled by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, a division of the United States Department of Justice. Note that the article author did not compile the data, they did not create the graphs, they did not work the statistics. They simply took the data and graphs straight from the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Admittedly they altered one of the graphs, but in that case all they did was add a time-line of the release of some consoles and games.

Furthermore, reading it on that site is like reading climate change research on exxon.com

While it's fine to be suspect of any research or study funded, promoted, or done by a group who has an obvious interest in the results being one way or another, dismissing it outright is called a logical fallacy. If you have something against the statistics in the article, please discuss.

I drove a pickup where the key could fall out of the ignition while driving over a slightly bumpy rode. It wasn't too much of a problem until it got to the point that I couldn't ever take my foot completely off the gas or the car would die in idle (brake and clutch with my left foot, gas with my right). A couple of times I let my foot off the gas a little too much and the truck would die and I would have to start looking for the keys before the light turned green. Fun times.
