is it 3 years? the way I read it that is a separate timeline for a new factory, these chips are being manufactured at a 3rd party facility. regardless yes they are probably still behind as NVidia are supposedly releasing B100 and B200 Chips to replace the H100 this year which also come with performance and power efficiency upgrades.

I don't need to. Current AI is no more intelligent than a pocket calculator is, It has no ability to think or reason. All current AI is at the moment is a fancy pocket calculator with an interface that replaces numbers with words for human output. Do you believe a pocket calculator is an example of Artificial Intelligence?

True

The problem here is that current "a.i" is not a real a.i. Its just a word database, with a large index and a lot of loops and what if intergers.

wtf?

he is correct, there is no intelligence at all in current AI. it is purely about the perception of intelligence through the presentation of information in human like output. Effectively it is a lot of smart programming to hide the fact the program has no actual intelligence behind it. the "AI" has no capacity to reason or think at all.

For someone with supposed degrees and experience in AI he certainly is a dumb shit. true AI doesn't even exist yet and it can't even reach the level of 1 month old baby let alone a developed human. AI has no ability to reason at all, it is really little more than a big database of information with pattern and language routines that allow the information to be presented to humans in a form that gives the impression of intelligence.

Except of course when I went back to Kodi for a short stint about 6 or 7 years ago it was just as unreliable, hell maybe I am just unlucky. But it seemed every other week the plugins would stop working or playback would become unreliable (this time sound would randomly die), that is when I finally bit the bullet and jumped to Plex. Plex I don't like the interface and it doesn't have the flexibility but it just works seamlessly and has apps for all my devices so I doubt I would ever go back to Kodi now.

I used to use it back in the Xbox Media Centre days. Amusingly I ditched it because it was extremely unreliable and such a hassle to keep running. constantly crashing, needing updates, playback randomly stopping mid movie etc. I would always get calls while on business trips from my wife how to fix or restart it. Then when I had a power surge that killed the Xbox media extenders and various other devices I used that as a chance to ditch that shit.

Plex is crappy, but it is significantly better than any of the open source alternatives, Over the years have used everything from Kodi and Jellyfin and many other media streaming services, most are too buggy, unrealiable or require constant technical attention to keep running which means they are not wife friendly. So as much as I dislike Plex I have the lifetime sub (purchased when it was cheap) and will continue to use it for pirate content.

Logically it makes sense as the assets of the company don't remotely make sense for the share price. BUT, the market is not always rational and when it comes to MAGA supporters that irrationality is magnified exponentially so I certainly wouldn't be taking this gamble even though every financial analysis says it should collapse.
