It doesn't go into effect until 2024. If they release a phone in 2023 they will do what's "best for society and the environment" by using the lightening connector one last time.;)
A simple solution to scalping would be to only allow ticket sales in person like the old days. Why they don't do see this as a viable solution is beyond me.
We see it, at least those paying attention. How do we get through to the those who aren't paying attention? As far as they're concerned if you're not for this, you don't care about the environment.
Curious what they mean by "third-party tools". If they are examining message content in an attempt to combat SPAM I have a problem with that. Yeah, they do it with email, but SMS is different. I've always had an expectation of privacy when it comes to SMS whereas email not so much.
PS: I use Signal nowdays.
"Parler, The Daily Stormer, Breitbart News, etc., are all propagators of hate speech"
So we're all on the same page, would you mind defining "hate speech"?
The extraterrestrial hypothesis (ETH) is one of many hypothesis regarding the origin of the phenomenon. You mentioned thermodynamics so I'm assuming you're saying they can't get here from there coupled with the vastness of the universe the odds of them finding us is next to nothing.
Personally I lean more twoards the interdimensional hypothesis that posits that the phenomenon is popping in and out from adjacent dimensions.
The ocean being evidence in my analogy. You can't conclude after examing a mere spoonful (photographic evidence) of a very large ocean of evidence that something isn't real when you haven't bothered to examine the rest of the evidence. Unless you've taken the time to look into the subject, most haven't, you'll end up basing your opinions off of incomplete data.
The photographic evidence for UFOs is weak.
Saying that the phenomenon don't exist because you haven't seen photographic evidence is like taking a table spoon of water from the ocean and saying that fish don't exist.
Weird right? It's almost as if the phenomenon doesn't want to be photographed. There are accounts of witnesses explaining that they "didn't think to photograph the ufo" while they are standing there watching it, phone in hand. In other instances people explain that an overwhelming feeling of "I'm not supposed to be seeing this" overcomes them and for whatever reason decide to put the camera away.
