Not all plastics are pure hydrocarbons. What exactly do you think happens to the chlorine in PVC when you burn it? It does not magically transubstantiate into a different element at high temperatures. It reacts with hydrogen and gets dissolved in atmospheric water to from Hydrochloric acid, plus a whole much of nasty airborne dioxins. And the Fluorine that is present in Teflon and many high-temperature rubbers? It does the same thing but makes Hydrofluoric acid. Yay for getting your bones dissolved.

Here's the first one I thought of...

91.15 Dropping objects - No pilot in command of a civil aircraft may allow any object to be dropped from that aircraft in flight that creates a hazard to persons or property. However, this section does not prohibit the dropping of any object if reasonable precautions are taken to avoid injury or damage to persons or property.

The Xbox Kinect motion capture device can be used as a 3D scanner, using either Microsoft's 3D scan app https://www.microsoft.com/en-u... or Skanect's software. https://skanect.occipital.com/

It works quite well for home use, but it is best on organic shapes, corners confuse it. I've also used professional 3D scanning equipment at work (Leica AT960 laser tracker with a Leica AS1 scanning sensor) which was clearly more accurate, but I was seriously impressed by what I could do with a used toy that I paid $10 for at Gamestop. I don't know for sure what the Leica setup cost, but I'd guess somewhere in $20,000 - $40,000 range.

That sounded like a Damien Hirst thing. And, so it was.

"This Little Piggy Went to Market, This Little Piggy Stayed at Home". The man sure does like putting dead animals in plastic. "Some Comfort Gained From the Acceptance of the Inherent Lies in Everything", featuring a multiply cross-sectioned cow in acrylic, is also disturbing.
