Segway UK Boss Dies After Driving Off Cliff 413

necro81 writes "Jimi Heselden, the British multi-millionaire defense contractor and philanthropist, who bought the Segway company last December from inventor Dean Kamen, died yesterday after an accident while riding one of the machines. While using a ruggedized X2 version of the two-wheeled balancing scooter at his estate in North Yorkshire, he apparently drove over the edge of a precipice and into the River Wharfe. He was found later by a passerby and declared dead on the scene."

I know this is getting off topic but the summary was really offtopic for the article...

Anyway after reading the summary I had the same thought about hexagonal pixels possibly being superior for some applications. However I think the biggest drawback or issue to contend with would be for text display. At best fonts would need to be recreated with a hex display in mind and at worst dithered. Maybe with pixel size approaching the eyes visual limits it won't be as much of an issue.

Submission + - I'm not a spammer

tfinniga writes: A spammer has recently started using my domain name as "From:" addresses when sending out spam. I'm worried about my domain being blacklisted, and I'm annoyed by the bounces — I'm getting about 1000 bounce messages a day. Unfortunately, I give out a different email address to each site I visit: slashdot@example.com, paypal@example.com, amazon@example.com, etc., and the spammer is using a different address for each mail, so simple address filtering doesn't work.

What is the best way of avoiding being put on a blacklist, and dealing with the flood of bounces?
