Usually I can nail it right on.

I agree with your post, but it has too many facts and not enough opinions for a slashdot post.

Every day there's an Apple story, and every day the same people show up to express the same opinions.

For a bunch of people who claim not to buy Apple products, they sure do spend a lot of time talking about them.

Of course he doesn't. That would a) require research, b) end up being less inflamitory, an c) decrease the chances of being on slashdot. ;-)

They're not doing this to save money in their accounting offices.

They're doing this so they can make life hard on other cable/internet providers.

If you read the People's Daily (Chinese controlled media), you'll find this is exactly the logic used to defend their practices.

If you hang out at an elementary school, you'll also find this is the logic third graders use to avoid taking responsibility.

The only solution is everyone gets to take responsibility for their actions.
