Submission + - Salvation Army sues website for parodic image

infoterror writes: "Apparently, the Salvation Army decided that a single GIF file was enough to sue over. What's creepy about it is that they decided to threaten the domain name registrar, not the site on which it was hosted. The press release from a known internet prank site gives more information, but what's most telling is The Salvation Army's legal filing. When corporations sue to protect icons, can total loss of free speech be far behind?"

Journal Journal: Does anybody read this stuff? 1

Curiosity leads me to ask - does anyone ever read the JE's of random people?

Long time listener, occasional poster.

There are 2 people on here who's JE's I frequent. I've considered posting my own, but wondered "is it worth the effort" - will anyone even notice, or will it be a purely self-serving exercise?

So, if you do read this, please let me know :) If I get "hits", I might start posting JE's.

Thanks,
