Instead of giving you only ads that might interest you, those companies can just flood you with all of them. No tracking means I can see ads for towing services 2000 miles away! Want to order pizza delivery from another country? Want to meet up with singles in a different timezone? There's nothing inherently wrong with using algorithms for more targeted advertisement. Blocking such algorithms doesn't necessarily make your user experience "better".

This is one area they need to just give up. Google has won this sector with ChromeBooks, and schools that are more affluent still purchase Macs. There is no need for this SKU.

What % of days are CEOs actually in their offices? Between jetting to other sites to get the red carpet treatment, visiting customers, doing offsite meetings/parties with their direct reports....I just don't see any way they can be onsite more than 1 day a week on average.

All multitasking during meetings counts as extra time. So if I have 5 hours a day in meetings, that’s 10 total hours, as I will be doing something else simultaneously. Right?

Amen to this. Safari still opens up on my iPad when I use Chrome for everything else. There are 3 desktop types that really get used: Windows, MacOS, and Chromebook. All have built-in, default, and really important browsers tied in. This tired trope is > 20 years old and it's just used up. Find something else to whine about.

Someone hasnâ(TM)t used Linux on a laptop as their daily driver. Itâ(TM)s a daily pain in the butt, whether new updates to some compiler theyâ(TM)ve never heard of, a driver puking, or simple stuff like the clock disappearing for no obvious reason. Not for the faint of heart.

This is only an issue after the first person who used the different screw in the first place. I have flat, phillips, and allen wrenches, and then I run across something that someone used star headed screws on. There is no real advantage to having done used those, but someone did it, so I have to have the tools. There is the problem with having all these languages. You only need to add to your tool set because someone decided to use something different, whether it represented a great leap from the previous solution or not.

Not a developer here, but why so many languages? Unless one is truly revolutionary, stop trying to get folks to switch to "new" niche languages. It just makes tech debt.
