The worse thing I dealt with when living in Pittsburgh were the drivers that would come to a complete stop on the on-ramp to the turnpike and wait until there was no traffic in sight to move.

When I was in high school and college I couldn't afford the cost of new books so the used bookstore was my favorite place to shop. Once e-books took off, the used bookstores all went out of business, at least in my city. I would love to have an online source to legally purchase "used" e-books for cheap. I am more than willing to pay full price for authors I know and like, but the cost of discovery for new authors is pretty high and the local library is quite limited.

I agree, although the never-ending fields from western Ohio through Kansas gets a little old after a while. Good thing the thunderstorms rolling up break up the monotony.

The day I went from 300 baud to 1200 was amazing, it no longer took ages to load a single page of text. The jump to 2400 enabled me to actually play some of the bbs door games without hogging the phone line for hours at a time.
