chemtrails, baby. Even the CIA director recently made a speech about them. Geo-engineering. If he's even talking about it, it's been going on for years.

Battery is more than one of something. So it's a gravity cell or a gravity capacitor, isn't it?
The semantics portion of my brain is in re-"volt". Sorry. Had to.
MWh or mWh?
I like the theory the name came from a stack of old VCR's. Sanyo, Toshiba, Nakamichi? Motorola
I'm gonna look this up, as well, but for the sake of anyone reading your comment, do you have any idea how the revenue gets shared from subscribers to premium to the channels they subscribe to?
she's the one that was on a press tour or some other public-facing trip and sent part of her motorcade ahead to a charging station to "reserve" her spot so the rest of her entourage could sit there and charge without having to wait, like the "commoners"
Yes there's a way to change it. Start putting in skyscraper apartments and condos in the cities where you want the mass transit. Oh, and make it safer. And cleaner. (I'm talking about inside the vehicles)
For every foreign person/country/entity that pushes hard for mass transit/electric busses, there's someone that is forgetting how sparsely populated MOST areas of the country still are.
Oh, you mean the most densely populated cities on the planet? Of course they're better (or at least a LOT more practical) in those few places.
I see the attraction of the argument, but suspect it wouldn't pass first amendment scrutiny, all things being "equal" anyway.
It's too late, anyway. If anyone with a few thousand bucks can run one of these things (albeit slowly) in their server closet, and it's open source to get started, regulation would be an unfunny joke.
From now on, every one of them is BANNED from ALL art galleries. Nor may they own ANY books with pictures in them. Would hate to think that they'd infringe on some other artists' intellectual property by incorporating a color palette or scene they liked into their work.
I'll bet you a dollar that there's a TOS/EULA section forbidding reverse engineering. So if using beeper violates it, are they really the "bad guy" for shutting you off?
I don't like it. I think it's crappy. Apple management sucks for many MANY reasons. I'm just saying... It's not like there was no warning or nothing forbidding doing this kind of thing.
I don't like it. I think it's scummy...
The main difference I know of is the priority for traffic. How is your data speed during "peak" usage times? It would likely be noticeably different than a phone using the "real" owner of the tower/carrier.
I'm gonna need about $3.50
"Focused"? no. I've been a daily Mac user since '94 and at no time have I believed they wanted to do anything other than play lip service.
If they had, we would have had machines capable of using the same video cards, throughout this time. We had a few hot spots with the G3 smurf towers through the G4 and G5 Mac Pro's, but those were too expensive.
We begged Apple for mid-range desktops that could be upgraded and the response from Jobs and Cook has been a clear and consistent "fuck you."
