angelasmark writes: According to this story in the Washington Post Vista sold more than 20 million copies during its first month of sales. This is apparently double the sales XP experienced during its launch. Is everyone who was predicting that Vista would be a dismal failure wrong?

Conlaw writes: It is being reported today that the former Cabinet member who was instrumental in passing the law requiring all British citizens to carry a National ID Card has now taken a job with Entrust which would like to be in charge of making the cards. The articles dutifully report that Mr. Blunket will not be working on UK projects and that he still thinks the cards are a great idea. Since they would be using WSUS (free) with which they can decline/delay the update of IE7 throughout the organisation.
