No, as Google Wallet had a card well before Apple Pay was a thing. This is more Google bringing back something they shouldn't have gotten rid of, not them copying Apple.

VW did this just fine
This wasn't a brute force attack. It was people using the same password for their device that they used on another site that had their password lists compromised.
Ahhh thanks I misread the churns over thinking it was chruning over a giant list with multiple passwords per usernsme as well.
There's no "you failed 5 login attempts, you have to answer a CAPTCHA", or "you failed 10 times, your account is now locked" at a minimum?
PA doesn't forward either and its because your registered address with then is to be your current, valid address.
It's not their fault you screwed up and didn't do what you are required to do. This also helps avoid those who try to register their car in another state they don't actually reside in just to avoid certain requirements of the state they actually do reside and have the vehicle in.
To be honest, at least in my area, when a local partnered with one streaming service it appeared on the others as well, so you could basically bet if one had it they all did that were doing streaming of your locals.
CBS is still the streaming hold out with those services and would rather you pay the $10/month or whatever for their CBS All Access app live stream (or whatever that call it). Screw that.
Yup, I even use(d) it with a Roku XD and XS just fine, but the UI on roku followed that of the Roku main page / Netflix layout which just sucked. I could only figure it made the app light by calling some Roku library to do the layout but that's my only guess as for why they did that
Last time I checked YouTube TV had crap for device support, and the UI to Hulu (haven't tried the Hulu TV) was just terrible to me
I did and still do. For the sports I got (of which I'm a big sports fan), the price was good. It also had a nice mix of channels my kids watch, and with the DVR functionality fit the bill.
The other nice thing is you can use up to 5 devices at a time under one account, so it makes it easier for others to watch one thing while I watch something else, while also NOT costing over $100 plus a per outlet fee or per receiver fee of the traditional TV services.
Lastly, the UI is one of the better ones in my opinion and that, combined with the device count, was one reason I went with them over Dish Sling back in the super early days.
I'll agree. The service was fine and in fact in my opinion had one of the better UIs for sure. I've been using it for a few years now

I mean lets say I haven't eaten pizza in some time, then I do and I find myself eating it multiple days in a row.. Can I sue? Or I buy a cheap set of horse shoes, play and next thing I know I made some decent pits in my back yard and find myself playing every night.. Can I sue?

Not an exact fit BUT my first thought was any request for funding for something that would have prevented this was met with a "no, it costs too much" or a "no we don't need it".
Where were the backups? Where was the scanning of emails and/or links? Where was the scanning of files on the systems? This was a failure that started at the top and to suggest otherwise it completely foolish.
